Pregnancy/Labor/Birth Support

Preparing you for and supporting you through childbirth,
Because you will only give birth to this baby once

Placenta Encapsulation, Doula Service

Complementary Consultation

Our initial visit for doula services is an opportunity to meet face-to-face.  Getting to know each other is vital. It is the best way to learn how I can best support you. Should you use me as a part of your support team,  the following is the basic idea of how our time together will unfold:

Unlimited Support By Phone * email * text

During your pregnancy and 2 weeks after your birth.

Prenatal Meetings

We will get together for prenatal meetings (usually two) to discuss how your pregnancy is progressing, your concerns, desires, and priorities.  I will help you navigate these things through educational material and “hands-on” practical information specific to you and your needs. Together, we will consider how I am best able support you and your partner.

24/7 On call support from 14 days prior to your due date & up to 14 days after your labor

Labor & Birth Support

From our agreed upon time of my arrival, aside from brief necessary breaks, I will continuously be by your side until 1 to 2 hours after you give birth.  I will assist you to the best of my ability and according to your measure plans.  Once the baby is born, if you have chosen to breast feed, I will help you and your baby establish a proper latch.

One Postpartum Meeting

A one hour meeting to review your birth experience, provide breast feeding, and/or newborn care support, and resources.  I will also answer any questions you may have about the events surrounding your birth.

Pictures If Desired

I am not a photographer, but I will be happy to photograph your labor and birth of your baby. Providing the circumstances permit it.
